Web Slice Gallery in Internet Explorer 8

Web Slice Gallery is a new feature in Internet Explorer 8.  It allows you to keep track of websites, such as Ebay, or other sites where you have to frequently check back for updates.  This new feature will alert you when something has updated on the site you are tracking.
To set up this feature, do the following:
  1. Open the website you wish to follow, for this example we will use Ebay.
  2. Make sure you have the 'Favorites Toolbar' active in you toolbars. To do this, click on View at the top, then click Toolbars, then click on Favorites bar
  3. In your Favorites Toolbar, there is an option for Web Slice Gallery.  You will need to make sure this option is turned on.  To do this, click on the Web Slice gallery icon and click the 'Turn on subscribing to Web Slices' icon at the bottom.
  4. Click yes
  5. You can then go back into the Web Slices Gallery and there will be an icon that says 'Find more in the Internet Explorer Add-Ons Gallery'.  You will click this to find the Internet sites you would like to follow, such as Ebay.
